Traditional (and other) music on traditional flute and mandolin, Celtic languages, "dabbling with the occult", born-again political cycling, Chen-Style Tai-Chi, psychogeography and poetry. I part-run a Pagan Moot, and occasionally get mugged into doing talks and stuff at other ones. Also making wines from wild ingredients. Growing veg, and the rest of the garden. Occasionally making nice things out of wood. Also, I've done a very small amount of film-extra work - and hope to again. SEE MY PHOTOS AT http://www.flickr.com/people/10634308@N03/?search=Se%C3%A1n1
"Bob"!, R.A. Wilson (though sadly he's dead now), Sister Decadence, True beautiful freak Dionysians.
LOTS!NOW: Dresden Dolls, Gogol Bordello, HUMANWINE, Bellowhead, Rosin Coven, Nicki Jaine, Jill Tracy, Leopold s'affole, Unto Ashes, Maladies of Bellafontaine. Wierd, wonderful experimental circus/burlesque/klezmer/folk/cabaret.BEFORE NOW: Old Goth nonsense, particularly Bauhaus, Sex Gang Children, Sisters of Mercy and Xmal Deutschland. Also David Bowie (my first music of taste!), Jim, Jimi and Janice, and a variety of odd folk, jazz, swing, rock, punk. All sorts in fact, but NOT rnb/rap/bland pop!
The best film ever made is Twelve Angry Men, closely followed by Amelie. Otherwise I generally like fantasy eye-candy such as Barbarella, the X-Men and other superhero stuff, Tank Girl and Dune. Anything by Tim Burton, Ray Harryhausen and David Lynch are okay by me.
I don't seem to watch much telly - too busy with everything else - but I like Dr. Who and Jools Holland's Later. The BBC series of Neil Gaiman's "Neverwhere" is possibly the best TV ever made.
Mostly occult/Pagan-based study books. I particularly like R.J. Stewart and John Matthews although there are a lot of really good writers (and some appalling turkeys, too!). In fiction, Jack Kerouac, Franz Kafka, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman. In poetry: Walt Whitman, Rosie Lugosi, Matthew Welton, W.B. Yeats.
Frank Bryce (Composer, multi-instrumentalist, artist, poet and pal), Emma Restall-Orr, Mike McGoldrick, R.A. Wilson, Tank Girl.
