4 Decades of Drums and Percussion- 60s:-Became a professional musician at 17 years young and toured playing drumkit with Brightonbeat group " Shelley ", supporting The Who , The Yardbirds , Small Faces and other popular bands of the era . Studied Classical Percussion with Jan Hanseth , Principal Percussionist with The Norwegian State Opera at The Conservatory of Music . Oslo . Norway . 70s:-Moved to London. Recorded with Joan Armatrading . Performed at The Roundhouse with Jenny Agutter in Ibsens " Hedder Garbler " . Played gigs with Ascend , Jazzira , Lena Lovitch , and The Third Ear Band . 80s:-Appeared on Blue Peter with The London Southbank Gamelan Players . Artists in Residence at The Royal Festival Hall . Played live with : Courtney Pine , Mark and Michael Monsesier , With Ruby Wax in " Ruby takes a trip ". Co- founded The CircusSpace and Lights In A Fat City whose seminal album "Somewhere " reached 2 slot in The World Music Charts .Toured Europe and Canada with: Amayenge , Burnham Burnham , The Drummers of Burrundi , The Bulgarian Ensemble , Salif Kaita , Rolf Harris , Fatala , Farafina , Gary Lucus , Lee Konitz , Remy Ongala and Andy Shepherd. 90s:-Lights In A Fat City toured the USA with Boukman Experiance and Olodun . Recorded " Sound Column " in SanFrancisco . As a solo Gong player appeared on: Lorraine Live , London Tonight , Richard and Judy , London Radio and Resonance Radio .Released "Human Tuning" by Eddy Sayer. Performed with Balinese Gamelan Orchestra LIla Cita , Michael Ormiston , Byron Wallen , and Transparent Music Ensemble .20s :-Performed with:Alquimia , B.J.Cole , Human Tuning Gong Orchestra and Ni Made Pujawati , Played in support of:Charlie Gillet , The London Community Gospel Chior , Nitin Sawney , Ravi Shankar and Rick Wakeman.
