Magic Carpet was a band in the 1970s with a unique and unusual sound whose eponymous album, Magic Carpet, on the Mushroom label has since become a sought-after collectable, now reissued on CD by the Magic Carpet Records label - visit their web site for more information - www.magiccarpetrecords.com.

In 1996 Clem Alford and Alisha Sufit got together again to record the album Once Moor, subtitled Magic Carpet II - the rush follow-up! extensively featured in Sound On Sound magazine, CD and LP released by Magic Carpet Records. Also reissued on the same label is Mirror Image, an album by Clem Alford first released on vinyl in 1974, with an extraordinary experimental track on side one and an exquisite classical raga on side two.
