About Me

I started writing songs in November 1987. I've been playing with quite a few bands. I drummed for a reggae band called "Fly 'N' High" from 1994 until 1996. I played bass for a funk band called "In Retro" from 1997 until 1998. I played drums for a rap band called "Roots Machine" during the same period. I played drums and sing for a Bangkok-based jam band called "Bisou" from 2004 until 2006. Since I moved to London, I played drums for a one-off gig with the nu-jazz band "Usus". I recently sang and played the guitar with folk-jazz band "Un Petit Peu". I have recently teamed up with Tam McGibbons (Banjo) as "Paul Martin & a Banjo Sound" (folk-reggae). We usually play live from times to times at the Cavendish Arms "Open Mic" night on Tuesday-nights.
