Wiley, Julian Stanczak, Chet Zar, Dianne Bowen, Sarah Maple, Lala Meredith-Vulva, Travis Louie, Laurie Lipton, Basil Alkazzi, David Hochbaum, Mark McGowan, Georgina Starr, Graham Dolphin, Kocot & Hatton, Yasmine Chatila, Cam de Leon, Heidi Taillefer, Aleksandra Mir, Mark Ryden, Carrie Ann Baade.... the list goes on.

Hi, my name is Brian Sherwin. I'm a painter (you can observe some of my work on this page and in my pics) and the Senior Contributing Editor for the myartspace.com blog. I'm employed by the Catmacart Corporation. I interview emerging and established artists in order to inform people about various artists. My goal is to advocate for artists and art education by utilizing my position.
Here is a small list of some of the artists I've interviewed:
Aleksandra Mir
Chet Zar
Mark Ryden
Norman Carlberg
Kate Kretz
James Zar
Charles Thomson
You can see the complete list here: http://myartspace.com/interviews/
Join the group for the blog if you wish: http://groups.myspace.com/myartspaceblog
My goal is to establish a bridge that will connect artists, art collectors, and dealers.
In order for me to build better connections with artists, art collectors, and dealers I need to get more members for my group.
I want artists to post about their upcoming exhibits, press releases, prints.. shirts... anything they are selling... anything. I also would like to see gallery representatives contacting artists through my group. I just need the group to grow for it to work.

Ambition can cut a path toward the future or become a death sentence from the past. I accept whatever fate deals to me. One thing is for certain... I will cause some form of change.

Your Birthdate: January 22
While sometimes employing unorthodox approaches, you are capable of handling large scale undertakings.
You assume great responsibility and work long and hard toward completion.
Often, especially in the early part of life, there is rigidity or stubbornness, and a tendency to repress feelings.
Idealistic, you work for the greater good with a good deal of inner strength and charisma.
An extremely capable organizer, but likely to paint with broad strokes rather than detail.
You are very aware and intuitive.
You are subject to a good deal of nervous tension. What Does Your Birth Date Mean?.. width="425" height="350" .... width="425" height="350" ..

My Interests

I'm interested in meeting artists. So if you are an artist or know someone who his... friend me.

I write for the myartspace blog. Thus, I am always searching for new artists to interview.
Main site: http://myartspace.com/The Blog: http://myartspace.com/blog/The Interviews: http://myartspace.com/interviews/Feel free to read the interviews and comment about the artists work.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who likes art. MORE ABOUT ME. "I'm a cybernetic organism"- Rational... yet I've been known to make a decision or two on impulse. I don't gamble unless I know that winning is stacked in my favor. I'm the multi-task king. I've have the ability to detach from one project to the next in order to secure the best possible outcome. I think that success is about what you can achieve- not what you own. I'm a father, brother, and loyal friend. I don't associate with anyone unless there is a mutual benefit. I'll tell you if I don't like you. My favorite candy is Swedish Fish. I'm fascinated by Japanese culture. I admire the nature of animals. I'll leave a relationship behind if it is no longer a benefit to me. I find old video games to be amusing. I follow routines. I've only been hurt by one person. I admire a good blade. I won't waste your time because that would be a waste of my time. I enjoy solitude- but I've been known to throw parties. I like to drink hot green tea. Small gifts with purpose impress me more than large gifts that will only gather dust. I admire people who follow their ambition. I think that most people have forgotten how to communicate. Trips to the mall become a sociological study for me. Pizza is yummy! Some of the interviews I've conducted in the last few months (click on the images)
