VINER'S MYSPACE POLICIES:
1. Don't post any images in my comments. I had to disable html because I got so many people using my page to post their self promotional crap, not to mention the spammers.
2. No bands just looking to beef up their number of friends. If you are a band and you like my work, write to me and ask me to add you.
3. If you sass me, I'll most likely just delete and block you.

Books:
"Let's See" by Peter Schjeldahl has some great essays on art. He's my favorite at this point. Donald Kuspit is also one of my favorite art critics. I recommend him especially if you are interested in, or at least not turned off by Fruedian psychology. Dave Hickey is good too, though a little bland/slow at times.
ALSO: Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, short stories. The first 3/4ths of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The Waste Books (a collection of aphorisms by Georg Lichtenberg). I'm proud to admit I've read Dune multiple times. Lately I just read news articles and emails mostly, or books my friends push on me.
