About Me

I have this page to network with other animal groups. I would like to achieve positive social change, not just for animals but for people and the planet as well. I have been involved in animal advocacy for approximately 16 years now. I am currently an animal control officer and animal cruelty investigator in NJ but have had extensive experience in the animal advocacy world that goes way beyond that. I formerly interned at Farm Sanctuary and have worked on state and local levels in NJ as the voice for animals. I am looking to further my connections and move forward in my quest to create change.

Animals (duh), Music, social issues, history, antiques, nature, hiking, gardening.

Music:

Whatever moves me. The picture below is from New Orleans, La. after Hurricane Katrina devestated the city. I saw devestation of man, animal, the environment and history. Working as part of the HSUS Dart team alongside the wonderful people of the LaSPCA I was able to make a bit of difference--it will never be enough. How was this allowed to happen? NEVER AGAIN.
