The Critter Corral

Chicagoland's largest guinea pig rescue...

About Me

The Critter Corral was founded in April 1999 to find homes for homeless and unwanted Guinea Pigs. Our goal is to find them new loving homes. To date, we have rescued and re-homed over 1,800 guinea pigs!! We are located in the Chicago area and operate a foster casre system run out of private homes. Appointments are set up to visit any piggie you might be interested in. By housing them in private homes we know the piggie personally and can help better find you your "forever friend."
WE DO NOT SHIP PETS!!
Being there are so many homeless Guinea Pigs around the country we do not feel we should fill homes out of our area with our Guinea Pigs. Check your local shelters if you are not in the Chicago and surrounding suburban area. Contact us for more information.
All of our adoptable pigs can be found on www.petfinder.com. I will try to keep the "adoptables" section here on MySpace current but might be backdated. If you see a guinea pig on here that you are interested in, please doublecheck on PetFinder to make sure it is still available. To view a full list of our adoptable piggies, click here! In the below slidehow are just some of the current adoptables we have!!
