Meryl's page for music, art, jewelry, friends, et cetera.

About Me

First and foremost: The "AAZ" stands for Antoinette Aphrodite Zingo, my pen-name. My real name is Meryl. Playing drums is my main passion, but is currently on the backburner since I'm not in a band at the moment and I've been working on art and jewelry instead. About me? LOVES: Lee, drumming, music, making and selling op/abstract art, writing, cats, arachnology, bird watching, driving long distances, garlic, old houses, decay, British humor, Frank Lloyd Wright, Ford diesel trucks, muscle cars, libertarianism, Ron Paul fans, conspiracy theories, sunshine, objectivism, the new Volvo S80 V8, my Ski-Doo Mach 1 700 triple, Marlboro No.27s, bottled beer, cabernet savignon, pierogies, books, making books, macreme, guns, precious metals, cooking, Rollergirls, wearing clothes until they fall apart, garage sales, exploring, new friends, and love.HATES: NeoCons, DnD, RPGs, Fargo/Moorhead, ignorance, onions, saurkraut, GM vehicles, girly girls, computer viruses, plastic siding, front-protruding garages, "indie" style artists, arrogance, bad music, gender stereotyping, employment, employers, landlords/ladies, psycho soccer mums in SUVs, minivans, the Toyota Prius, pot-holes on I94, math, learning about financial stuff, the public school system, college, and the unnecessary shutter noise that digital cameras make. You Should Play the Drums
You are often hyper, restless, and full of a little too much zeal.
However, people may be surprised to know that you can focus your energy well.
You are driven and engaged enough to be a great drummer... and you have the stamina to practice for hours.
In fact, when you can channel your energy productively, it only increases!
You are independent and spirited... but also consistent. You can definitely keep the beat.
You work well in a group and contribute heartily - without needing to take the lead.
Your dominant personality characteristic: your aggression
Your secondary personality characteristic: your precision What Musical Instrument Should You Play?
You Would Be a Pet Cat
Independent and aloof, you don't like to be dependent on anyone.
And as for other people, you can take them or leave them. You often don't care.
You live your life by your own rules. And you have deep motivations that no one truly understands.
Why you would make a great pet: You're not needy or greedy... unlike other four legged friends.
Why you would make a bad pet: You're not exactly running down to greet people at the door
What you would love about being a cat: Agility and freedom
What you would hate about being a cat: Being treated like a dog by clueless humans What Kind of Pet Would You Be?

My Interests

This is a page set up in order to meet and network with friends, discuss and expose music, art, jewelry, writing, politics, and generally be silly and rant about all the crap I enjoy and do and enjoy doing. So basically both a personal page and a business page. I think one myspace is enough.

I'd like to meet:

I've already met him. Oh, and I suppose kickass people who also enjoy alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and libertarianism. Also, anybody in the Twin Cities who plays progressive music, and anyone in Minnesota interested in op art, hemp and beaded jewelry, and networking. Anyone?
