About Me

Hi! My name is Teddy and I am a 3 year old guinea pig who likes eating basil, watching TV, particularly Life on Mars and Primeval, however I think that Soaps and Big Brother are an abomination. I like horror movies, reading, eyeballing my pet human, and sqeaking for more food at regular intervals. Am interested in meeting like minded guinea pigs or others of the small furry persuasion but also like to chat and exchange views with non furries too as I am an equal opportunities guinea pig.

My Interests

My main interest is eating, however I also like sleeping too. I do yoga to keep fit, although I have terrible problems with downward dog. I enjoy films and like to read over my pets shoulder when she's not watching. I have a key interest in the opening of the fridge door and trying to get to the food bowl before Bluebelle to ensure that I dont starve. href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmNyaXR0ZXJjb3 JyYWwub3JnLw==" target="_blank"

I'd like to meet:

If we can include dead and fictional people then I would love to have met Thomas Cochrane, Edward Marshall Hall, Audrey Hepburn, Henry Morgan and Captain Blood. If we are talking now then Johnny Depp, Carl Hiasson, Martin Sheen and Martin Scorcese

Music:

Very wide music taste and big Robert Palmer fan. Also like Blue Nile, Linda Eder, Diana Krall and Everything But the Girl.

Movies:

Like horror films although prefer scary to gory, like comedies and fun and adventure. Pirates of the Carribean is the most enjoyable film I have seen for ages, and enjoyed Hoodwinked, particularly its positive depiction of prey animals. Other favourites include Supertroopers, Talledega Nights, Missisipi Burning, Sleepy Hollow, Guys and Dolls, Calamity Jane, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Unsinkable Molly Brown (yes I'm a musical fan) and think that Fred Astaire was the greatest dancer ever - not so keen on his singing though!

Television:

Life on Mars is great, and thought primeval was good too. Wild thing I think I love you is a favourite. Never seem to have enough time to watch much.

Books:

Recent convert to John Connelly, long time fan of Carl Hiasson, Christopher Brookmyre and Terry Pratchett. Thrillers and comedies mainly but do read good books when I have time. Vanity Fair, Precious Bane among all time favourites, but also very keen on Dickens, Hardy (yes I know he's misreable but the writing is great), Austen, Rafael Sabatini, Somerset Maugham (but what was it ever about?)and still love The Scarlett Pimpernel and Captain Blood because I'm just a romantic at heart.

Heroes:

Thomas Cochrane (10th Earl of Dundonald) was great and its tragic that so few scots know anything about him. I think when someone says that as a Captain of the Navy you could have taken the French fleet - and that someone was Napoleon, that's quite something! To get 5000 votes from the masses when you are an Earl is also quite an achievement, yes he was a polititian too, but not very diplomatic. Audrey Hepburn was perfect too although I think she might have worn fur......

Horror films

As my wife Scarlett is still not really squeaking to me, I decided to spend some time last night with my pet.  (pretty much last resort!)  Fortunately she was watching a horror film, Texas C...
