"I have no doubt that it is a part of the destiny of the human race, in its gradual improvement, to leave off eating animals."
- Henry David Thoreau
You!! Come meet our farmed animal friends and hear about their rescue stories during our special “meet & greet†tours. Cuddle with a cow, give a pig a belly rub, talk to turkeys — and learn why it’s so important to rescue and protect ALL animals.
Animal Acres is open to the public every Sunday and offers one-hour guided tours at 11am and 1pm. No appointment is necessary for Sunday tours. School and group tours (of 10 or more people) are also available by appointment. Please call 661-269-0986 or email us at [email protected] to schedule a school or other special group tour.
Thank MOO from all the critters at Animal Acres.
Animal Acres also holds a Farm Chore Day every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s another great way to visit the sanctuary and meet the animals by helping take care of them! Volunteers must be 16 years of age of older and arrive by 11 a.m.
Animal Acres Members are also welcome to visit Animal Acres by special appointment. Please email us or call if you would like to set up a special visit. If you are not a member, please join Animal Acres today!
