"Employing an arsenal of digital tools, Melissa Lambert mines a hallucinatory territory embedded with personal codes and signals that lend her dizzying, pixelated surfaces unusual depth."

- Michael Ned Holte, writer and contributer to Artforum Magazine

My works are available for sale in large format limited editions as well as very affordable smaller, open editions. They are archival prints using pigment inks by Nash Editions (Nash, of Crosby, Stills & Nash fame).

My Interests

Art, art, art, hanging out with my Art Dialogue friends including Cynthia Paige Aaron (assemblage artist), Joseph De Mario (curator at Bakery Art Exhibitions), Joel Mark (fantastic photographer) Keith Ullrich (collage/assemblage), this list will grow soon. Then: music, writing poetry, and lots of reading. Exercising & eating/cooking great vegan food is up there too...and of course spending time with my cats, Tazz & Goobs.

I'd like to meet:

Fellow artists (visual, musical or otherwise) writers, philosophers, introspective thinkers. New friends!

Music:

I love kcrw (89.9 FM) Favorites (not in order of preference) include friends Skye, Freedom People, Moorcheeba, Kate Whitemarsh; as well as Joni Mitchell, OPM, Dandy Warhols, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Edith Piaf, Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Jack Johnson, Jem, The Cinematic Orchestra, Air, David Gray, Brian Eno, Mia Doe Todd, Throwing Muses, Cat Power, Esquivel!, RemyZero, Better than Ezra, Wilco, Cowboy Junkies, Beth Orton, Innocence Mission, Eleni Mandell, Iris Dement, Beck, Weekend Players, Radiohead, Luscious Jackson, Henry Mancini, Gomez, Tom Jones, Spearhead, Coldplay, Randy Newman, Gorillaz, David Kitt, NoonDay Underground, Zero 7, Ian Moore, R.E.M., Tom Petty, James Blunt, Cat Stevens, Afro Celt Sound System, Innocence Mission, Tracy Chapman, The Flaming Lips, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Richard Thompson, Moby, Hooverphonic, Massive Attack.
