MY INFERNO
Comment by "Saskia": an overdose of reality, during the formative years, perhaps hinders our ability to trust, or for deeper functioning intimicy for that matter.. however, i am of the opinion that it also enlightens us to another spectrum of awareness, and yes my angel, another level of passion, which holds in it an opportunity to experience the world around us, in a far more profound manor.. who's to say... at this point, my aptitude for what pleasures to me, is far more appealing.. thus am thankful for what may've made me the way that i am... and so it is my love... xxoo"

Comment "livskraft": Wow...vår underbara huvudstad i det vackraste gyllene sken som tänkas kan...Den här målningen andas en slags trygghet för mig.
Fenomenal!
Comment "Swan": You're showing yet another face of your hometown - Stockholm in a golden garment - just like out of a fairytale book !!!

Comment "Gala Rea": I LUV this piece ! It has a wonderful clarity and balance between the bright yellow orchra, defined with the brilliant red, and subdued by the soft blues.
THAT SUMMER WHEN...
Comment "Swan": A closed door that can't be opened because this table containing the newspaper and the open preserving jar are in the way.
Something intangable seems to shine thru that door ... The golden flowers in the jar have only a little water left -
what strong symbols of contrasts these are - wow !!! Nobody knows what's behind this door ...
Your highly symbolic painting really speaks for itself and doesn't need more interpretation, Per-Inge !!!
Such a masterpiece in art, expression and meaning ...
Comment "is it BRUTALOGIST?":
your paintings are cross-examination
that is the key thing 4 me
a true window

texture music , politics ,
and good-taste

MIDDLE AGES
Comment "Swan": This is an incredible sight of Stockholm, Per Inge !!! As always, I really love the interaction of light and colours in this piece. You seem to capture the very moment where the sun is pouring out pure gold just before sunset - so warm and glowing !!! I immediately feel the desire to take the next flight to Stockholm in order to be able to experience those colours and the luminosity of that city ...
EL ULTIMO ADIOS
Comment "Kamah": When I look at it I go out of focus then back in, like waiting in a car watching the fog but seeing the light a little and making out whats there. Sleepy dream state type of feeling. Like I have to be somewhere but im mesmerized. Im trying to stare. I know the clock is ticking but i cant move. Im content. Just staring.
Comment "IMPERATRIX SILVANA PATRIZIA": This Image evokes that a new life will start to this woman who goes into the Bus. If you look on the top you can see many ramifications as a continuation from the tree....it remind me that she leaves ....and let the past behind to go forward to another kind of life. I think this new life it'll be good because the color of the sky in yellow is an energetic color not dark.
Comment "Bedazzled": To me, the bus and the car represent the comings and goings in our everyday lives. And even though it is a dark and somewhat dreary time of evening, the house remains colorful and full of life and energy. It is like dullness and beauty can coexist. I feel a hint of sadness about the woman getting on the bus...as though she is leaving the house and never returning. She is moving on, while the car in the distance is being driven by someone who is returning to his/her own home.
Comment "TIM": Your paintings, to me, are like "decisive moment" photography... This is a term coined by the photographer Henry Cartier Bresson. There is much depth to your art. The compositions are wonderful. If there were no color in your paintings... I could still see the color, The smells would all still be there. The feel of the day is there.. I have been there before, is there. You give them back a feeling that has been lost in their own memory. You see things from a perspective of a photographer, but yet, it is not photography. You have the artistic ability to place viewers "into" your paintings... It's like they are there... in your paintings. They are living in your painting while they are viewing the painting. You have the experience of life to convey that life as well as the life of others into your art. You are quite the observer of how life really is. Sadness, happiness, loneliness, thought, daily life.
A BURNING WINTER SKY
Comment "Mugato": Misty moistened mornings illuminated only by the dim street light posts. Ending into a closing time for me. Nostalgic are nights and are the moments when I can really feel alive. With everyone asleep I alone can go anywhere and nowhere and in complete freedom to see and use the world as no one ever does nor will. When these morning post start to lose their use, these ending and intoxicating moonlit night skies descend into my inner memory, and then with great haste cancerous rays will soon come too fast and the world opens its eyes and then everything moves with tantrum screams. Bacon and egg sandwich and an orange juice. To go, please. Their dreams came in and go out but never kept. Walking back toward my one bedroom the sun arrives like an overbearing father and his children creep out starring down. The cement sidewalks in unison continue on from yesterday. The feeling of nausea begins with a puff. Halfway into the building the acids inside rise up like a volcanic eruption. Slowly the thick vomit white opaque colored then a little bluish spills down my mouth. Not wanting to lose the investments I hold up high and swallow. Coughing a few times it comes again. Breathe. Let it down slow now. A false but temporary smile penetrates through my vein's openings and into my skin. A flooding rush of everything comes to mind. Manic thoughts. Stepping onto the old faded gray mattress, the springs are felt right on through, and my morning breakfast is now served warm.
INFERNO
Comment "Gala.Rea": I just LUV your integrated pieces ~ You take surrealism to a new level! And this piece tells so many stories within one story ...
MIDNIGHT QUEEN
Comment "Bedazzled": I will never grow tired of looking at this painting. It is masterful, and the story it tells is a biography of the life of a fragile woman who was seduced and abused by the world of fame.
Brilliant is an overused word, but it applies to this true work of art.
STOCKHOLM BY NIGHT
Comment "Swan": The multiple faces of Stockholm seem to talk to me ... Even the circles of the water and the light reflections form kind of faces !!! Really an intriguing atmosphere - another masterpiece of yours, Per-Inge !!!
THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS
Comment "Bijou Blue": Hun, I was looking closely at the painting "Prince of Darkness" and just noticed that there is a semi-naked woman on the ground and there is also a man just above her. Is it a rape or are they 2 sexy freaks having sex in an alley?
Comment "Per-Inge": It is a rape, as violent as Jimi destroying a gituar and then setting it on fire...
Comment "Flynn": I love the way you weave imagery. It is seamless and smooth. Your details are fun little portals to etheral beauty layered upon visual poetry in motion a reflection of humanity's inner joys and sorrows. The boldness of "The Prince of Darkness", (speaking what we ourselves dare not face), held against the stimulating , hopeful beauty of "Carnivale" is a stirring journey. Your work is layered with such depth , that your skill and dedication are clear.
CARNIVALE
Comment "TIM": You have the ability to place me, the viewer into your art. I feel the movement of the people in the street. The tension here is astonishing.
Comment "mary": My knees are shaking this painting is so good. i've been wanting to do a nite scene of a rainy tokyo for awhile and now you've given me a swift kick to get started. your paintings are so fabulous i feel gifted you found me.
