One hundred dreams from now...

About Me

Jula Kalshoven (1983) started singing at age 4 with a hairbrush in her hand and a Madonna tape on play in her mothers livingroom. When she got older, she played in several bands and she started singinglessons with Bart de Win. She discovered Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O'Day and decided that she wanted to sing and study jazz. After wandering around in the world for a while (Iceland, Germany and France) She finally found the place to be: the Conservatory of Utrecht. There she has lessons with Lydia van Dam and Dennis Kivit and had workshops with Hein van de Geyn, Denise Jannah, Mark Murphy and Bert van de Brink.
