IN A CABIN WITH international recording project

IN A CABIN WITH is a project created by The Green Motel recording studio / Maarten Besseling.
Every 2 months Maarten (as an audio-engineer/producer) will take one or two musicians to a beautifull spot somewhere in Europe or beyond.
The main program of the project is to take one or a few musicians to a cabin or a house and write, produce and record music in a total different and inspiring invironment.
After a week of recording we will take all the material to The Netherlands, we (need to) sleep a few nights, and finally we will start the mixing process in the The Green Motel studio.
When this process is finished the albums are downloadable for FREE on the website, including great artwork by different artists.
I repeat this process six times a year. Above you can see (and listen) to some of the recordings we did in 2007. On the "In a cabin with" website you can check out their background, myspace pages or official websites.
