About Me

Hi there -- and thanks so very much for stopping by!

People fall in love with green living in all sorts of ways...for me, it all began in a graveyard. The old Friends' Burial Ground, to be precise, where my husband and I were sextons. It was a gorgeous place - five acres of century-old trees, a tiny stone house built around 1840, and two large gardens for herbs and veggies.

It was the first chance I'd had to actually practice the Old Country peasant principles I'd inherited from my Italian/Lithuanian parents...gardening organically, spending lots of time in nature, living simply.

That was a long time ago...my college-age son was 6 when we moved...but the lessons have stayed with me ever since. And ever since I left a 15-year technical-writing career in Corporate America to go it alone as a copywriter for sustainable businesses, the experience of green living at the Burial Ground has been my inspiration.

It's been an ongoing journey! After 12 years in our current home, I'm learning to use a reel mower (see my blog for that story!)...and learning about retrofitting a 1920s house to use a minimum of energy and fuel. That's been a journey, too - click here to see my adventures in researching biodiesel as a heating fuel (along with all the juicy tips I found!)!

So what does it mean, exactly, to be a copywriter for green business? Well...it's a challenge! I've had a fair bit of training as an online marketing writer - went through Joe Vitale's executive mentoring program, worked with Perry Marshall, and am in a couple of online mastermind groups now.

I've learned a lot about infomarketing and infoproducts and hypnotic writing...but I know from experience that green business works from heart and conscience, mission as well as profit. The triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profit, in other words.

So you might say I'm working to bring two worlds together...the magical world of online copywriting and infopreneuring, and the world of passion for the earth and the amazingly creative ways that sustainable businesses are working to save our planet.

Looking to transform my clients into info-eco-preneurs, so to speak, helping you to do "good" and change the world with your expertise while you also do "well!" If you want to see some of the tips and techniques I've learned, just click here

I like to say I'm an "intuitive" copywriter...so what does that mean? I listen to you as my client... really hear the essence of your message...and then craft powerful sales letters, web content, and other tools that distill your vision, your mission, your fire and enthusiasm, in your voice. I don't follow trendy agendas - my experience is that your passion and heart for your business will sell far better!
