About Me

Green Remodel at greenremodel.net is a website for homeowners contemplating anything from new paint to a complete house remodel, who want to learn about practical "green" options. Lots of chatter out there about "going green" and "reducing the size of our environmental footprint," but, what does that mean, really? How do you translate that into doable changes under your own roof (or maybe the roof, too)?

We hope to help you answer some of those questions, with a greenbuilding primer, useful articles, and resources for ideas, materials and methods. We've even got a greenbuilding glossary to help you wade through the jargon you might encounter on your quest for greater greenness.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Want us to post your upcoming greenbuilding or green living event on our website? U.S. and Canadian events only, please. Check out our calendar of events on the site at http://www.greenremodel.net/calendar.htm and then e-mail us your information here on MySpace or at the website at [email protected] Make sure to include a URL for more information and a contact name and number.

We're a work in progress and actively invite input: attaboys, topic suggestions, new greenbuilding products, etc.

We'd especially like to hear from you if you've done or are about to do a green remodel. Whether you're a homeowner, designer or remodeler, we'd like to hear about your project (large or small, but it has to be a dwelling)! If appropriate, we'll publish your .jpg images and a short narrative about your work in progress right here on MySpace and on the website. Send your story and images to [email protected]
