my name is Cristofe and I'm a singer/songwriter/guitarist/bassist/synth programmer/audio engineer...Wheww!!I'm originally from NYC and played in bands up and down the east coast, most notably OMS LAW. OMS LAW was based in New Brunswick, NJ from the mid to late 80's and often played the same clubs as other local up-and-comers Monster Magnet and The Smithereens.I then toured nationally as a solo acoustic act for several years before settleing in Carbondale, IL. I now play regionally as a solo, duo, trio, quartet or five piece as well as own and operate my own recording studio. I've recently assembled an absolutley killer band of seasoned professionals. Cristofe (the band), plays a compelling mix of roots/classic style rock, country and blues, both originals and time honored classics. These songs were recorded by me,(and the band!), in our studio, where we will be returning this fall to record a full length CD.That was then.....since that was written I've been divorced, lost my home, my studio & my DOG to my witch of an ex-wife. I've played a few solo gigs in my new home town but I'm really starting to get the itch to join/form a new band.....anybody in Eastern Tennesee wanna jam?
