About Me

Bruno Sanfilippo has been a musician & producer of contemporary electronic music since 1991. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1965 later and moved to Barcelona, Spain around 2000. Bruno became a Music Professor in the Galvani Conservatory in 1988 and founder of the label ad21music ten years later. Through his contemplative music the intention is to transmit something other than emotional stimulus or simple entertainment. It obsesses itself with a search through different things - the amazing, the magical and the deep. In dreams, there’s no imagined thing that’s too absurd, too strange - Bruno Sanfilippo’s music comes from that inexhaustible and shameless source.

Phil Derby - Editor & Publisher Electroambient Space

Influences: "His gift for picture music is the common thread running through it, his earlier works sounding more like soundtrack music and his later works moving into more ambient realms, though still with a strong sense of imagery" Phil Derby - Editor & Publisher Electroambient Space

With this release (as well as his previous effort, the overlooked and brilliant InTRO) Bruno Sanfilippo clearly stands apart from many other ambient artists recording today. Frankly, I’m in awe of his unique musical vision and the singular direction his music is taking in these last two recordings. Whether or not ambient music fans can appreciate Piano Textures, I personally think this is an amazing piece of work and consider it one of the finest albums so far this year and staggeringly original in overall concept and execution.
My highest recommendation. by Bill Binkelman [New Age Reporter] 2007

Dreamlike and emotive, by turns both very beautiful and very sad, "Piano Textures" is a wonderful disc that showcases Sanfilippo’s talents and skills.
A truly wonderful work to become acquainted with this very talented performer. by rik Pingthings.com

Sounds Like: Your style ranges nicely between the textural and the melodic, and I think your use of organic and acoustic (at least sampled) elements is very tasteful. Robert Rich

A superb dose of ambience whose power is understated but vibrant, evoking a series of entries into the inner mind. Matt Howarth [Sonic Curiosity]
