Originally from Upstate New York, Bill "Giff" Gifford provides the low-end sound as well as vocals to many national acts. With a funk-n-roll resume from years in the trenches playing the Central Florida music scene, Giff adds a "funky" flavor to smooth jazz sensation Planet 9 (www.planet9theband.com).
Giff also can be seen touring the country with faith based singer/songwriter Beth Schafer (www.bethschafer.com). Beth recently won an American Idol sponsored songwriting contest in the Faith Based category. Giff has also played on the most recent solo CD from sax player Charlie DeChant (Hall & Oates). Giff is a very much in demand session musician and records regularly in recording studios in Central Florida.
