Beth Schafer has been a defining voice of contemporary Jewish music in America for the last 10 years. Beth's primary objective is to make peace through her music. Attracting fans of all faiths because of her infectious spirit and attention to universal themes in her writing, Beth won the AMERICAN IDOL UNDERGROUND FAITH BASED COMPETITION in 2006. Beth has just released a CD for fans of any faith called "Build That Bridge." The title track, co-written with Larry Hoppen from the band ORLEANS, speaks to our need to reach out to neighbors of other faiths and celebrate what we have in common. A large city with a diverse population. This music is about being a resident of a big, complicated world where you are a vital cog that makes the whole machine work.
