Laura received critical acclaim from her debut, including an honorable mention in the 2003 John Lennon Songwriting Contest for the opening track, "Grace in Me." Laura supported her CD by performing in numerous clubs and spiritual centers throughout the United States and was chosen as one of the emerging artists at the 2004 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.During this time, Laura was also a featured singer in the film and soundtrack of the Warner Brothers release, "Clifford's Really Big Movie", which starred John Ritter as the voice of Clifford.In August 2006, Laura released her follow up to LOVE WILL, a self-titled acoustic CD that showcases her vocal, piano and songwriting talents. She describes her 2nd release as "a pop collection of modern and relevant inspirational songs."Berman's 3rd CD, DETOUR, is a collection of pop inspirational songs, and was released in October 2007. The CD was penned by songwriter/guitarist Craig Benelli and is produced by Benelli and songwriter/producer Scott Cresswell.
