Jenna Lynn was born in Simi Valley, California on October 23rd, 1986 to David and Barbara. Her parents were not musically driven, but thanks to their love and support, Jenna Lynn had the chance to dream and succeed.
At the young age of 6, she performed onstage for the first time at a school talent show. That was only the beginning; she performed every year until her last year of high school. At the age of 17, Jenna Lynn became a part of a group called Pocket Change. This Simi Valley based rap and hip hop group gave Jenna Lynn her first recording experience, which confirmed that singing was the right path for her to take. She recorded with Pocket Change for 2 years.
After graduating from Royal High School in Simi Valley in 2004, she relocated to Hollywood and attended the Musician’s Institute (M.I.). This is where she found her next musical venture, which came to be an alternative-rock funk band called Subvrosa. She performed with the band for roughly eighteen months in venues such as: The Roxy, The Troubadour, The Derby, The Vu, The Knitting Factory, King Neptune’s,
The Avalon( San Diego), The Cobalt Café, etc.
She completed M.I.’s eighteen month vocal program and built the confidence and learned the techniques needed to become the vocalist she was born to be. These days, Jenna Lynn is focusing on her solo career as an R&B/Soul/Acoustic singer, songwriter, and performer.
She is currently in the recording stages
