Here is some information on a unique film and an opportunity to help that will really make a difference: Its a story of deception, art and war that has been a secret for almost 50 years. You can help make sure that it now gets told--before its too late.This is the story of "the Ghost Army" a top-secret unit composed of artists whose mission it was to create a "traveling road show" to deceive the Germans about the location and strength of American troops on battlefields across Europe- and it is one of the last great untold stories of World War II. Filmmaker Rick Beyer has been working as quickly as possible to capture the stories of the surviving veterans of the 23rd headquarters Special Troops. Though they are now in their 80s & 90's, they've given Rick their vivid recollections of their extraordinary unit.
