Movies:

American Indian Homelands
Most citizens know next to nothing, other than exaggerations and myths, about the plight of American Indians. It's easier to live that way, right?
Ray Davies: The World From My Window
In "Ray Davies: World From My Window", we catch up with Ray, the legendary frontman and chief songwriter for The Kinks, as he prepares and records material for his first proper solo album.
Waco: The Rules of Engagement
From the first moments of filmmaker William Gazecki's controversial Emmy Award winning 1997 documentary "Waco: The Rules of Engagement" we are grabbed by the throat.
David Bowie: An Earthling at 50
An icon and easily one of the most instantly identifiable and influential figures in rock and roll history, David Bowie has had a good long run. The Clash: Westway to the World
Music can change the world. It can free us from our humdrum lives, it can inspire us to create, and raise our awareness of the world around us.
X: The Unheard Music
Many thanks to Jonathan Demme for introducing me to one of my all time favorite bands.
Sam Pekinpah's West: Legacy of a Hollywood Renegade
The Auteur theory is a concept that can be traced back to Francois Truffaut and his colleagues at the French film criticism magazine Cahiers du Cinema.
Ron Haviv: Freelance in a World at Risk
On a good day, Ron Haviv drives isolated roads along unfamiliar countryside in a small armored car.
