TK alias Thomas Kaufmann (1975) lebt mit der Mission «Recreate Reality» und sammelt Bilder mit seiner Videokamera und realisiert an ungewöhnlichen Orten Projekte unter Einbezug von verschiedenen Medien und Materialien. Er kreiiert, bearbeitet und zeigt seine Arbeiten in den Städten, in denen er sich aufhält. Alle Projekte drehen sich um die Neukreation der Realität, und zeigen seine Sichtweise von den Dingen, die je nach Stimmung und Ort unterschiedlich ausfallen. Seine Videos wurden bisher in 13 Ländern vorgeführt. Seit anfangs 2006 lebt TK in Rio de Janeiro, wo er sich ausschliesslich seiner Muse hingibt. ------- //

Tipógrafo e Videoartista, nasceu 1975 na Suíça, morando desde 2006 no Rio de Janeiro, tem como lema Recriar Realidade. Trabalha com vídeo experimental e intuitivo com apresentações ao vivo como VJ, produz videoclipes, documentários e curta metragens com amostra em cinemas, televisão, galerias, casas noturnas, espaços culturais e alternativos. Tem seus trabalhos presentes em vários países da Europa e no Brasil.
Participou de vários festivais, entre eles riocenacontemporanea, Rio de Janeiro (2006), Solothurner Filmtage, Suíça (2007), Split Film Festival, Croácia (2004), Off Loop Festival, Barcelona/Espanha (2004), Fantoche, Animation Film Festival Baden/Suíça (2003), One Minute Film Festival, Aarau/Suíça (2004).
Exibiu instalações com e sem vídeo na Suíça e no Rio de Janeiro. Lançou seu livro “Das Russland-Tagebuch” (O diário da Rússia), e criou e participou de performances e ações; entre eles um torneio de “Tesoura, Pedra e Papel”, leitura do seu livro. Co-organizou um festival de vídeo e musica eletrônica.
Diretor da empresa Love & Peace Criação Visual Ltda., fundada em 2000 na Suíça, estabelecendo-se em 2007 na cidade do Rio de Janeiro a agência de relações públicas e produtora é especializada em organização de eventos e festivais de música e vídeo. Dedica-se também a criação de identidades visuais para empresas, produção de revistas, livros e websites. Trabalha com imprensa e divulgação. ------- //

TK alias Thomas Kaufmann (born 1975) from Switzerland lives with the mission «Recreate Reality» and collects pictures and scenes with his video camera, edits and shows them in the cities he stays. TK's videos are colour intensive and he works with lots of cuts, live mixed from a laptop. His pictures have positive vibes and bring an amusing entertainment. TK films and edits all his videos by himself in the course of his visits to such European cities as Barcelona, Berlin, Riga, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Budapest, Athens and more. The experimental video clips present his perspective of the places he visits: TK goes to the corners where others close their eyes and takes a look at mankind.
TK's projects have big bandwidth. He presents his solo live visuals in clubs, video installations in galleries, his experience includes production of a documentary, music video clips (shown on Swiss Television) and experimental short movies, writing a novel «The Russia Diary», doing a room installation, organisation of several special events, lately a rock-scissors-paper competition.
