Portable Film Festival

About Me

The Portable Film Festival is an annual online festival presenting the best in international short film and internet video culture. From the second we open our virtual doors, you can take our programme away with you .. or maybe just some of the programme - and do whatever you want with it. All you need is a portable device, like a video iPod, Sony PSP, laptop computer or fancy mobile phone. And here..s the kicker: it costs absolutely nothing if you sign up.

PORTABLE FILM FESTIVAL - Big Plans, Bigger Films.

Ou'll already know Portable Film Festival as providing an annual competition of high falutin' international film and video direct to your screens, ipods, psps, and mobile phones, but from September, Portable is going live Monday to Friday with all new daily content and curation! All of our festival flicks, from award winning shorts, features, music videos and cell phone capture will still be here for you to explore, but we'll also be delivering a film a day direct to your digital doorstep, curated from the most exciting new content from the most difficult to navigate corners of world film culture, as well as the trusty video vaults of the interweb. And what's more, you'll get to hear the stories, meet the people behind the films, and know more than just what you see. So kick-start your morning distractions by checking in with www.portablefilmfestival.com
We kick off in September with Oh Canada!, our daily focus on all things cinematically Canuck; a focus on Road Movies, and a few surprises inbetween…

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

In postage stamp-sized corners of the internet you people are making us laugh, cry, herald or question with on-screen antics and personas. From bedroom bloggers to beatboxers, stand-up comics to crank-callers, not forgetting established filmmakers we recognise the most inventive people using film and video to further their cause.
