About Me

I draw comics for a living. Preferably science fiction ones, but I have occasionally drawn war, horror and superhero stories, too. What am I most famous for? Probably The Filth, Ministry of Space , The Invisibles , Enemy Ace: War in Heaven and Judge Dredd. I've been happily married to the ever patient and long-suffering Karen for nearly ten years now and we now have three children, Charlie, George and Alex who arrived on New Year's Eve 2006. They're all lovely! What am I like? Lazy, busy, pessimistic, cheerful, unpractical, single-minded, friendly, bitter, funny, boring... and contradictory. Just like everyone else. My Interests

Drawing comics. Reading comics. Watching films. Drinking red wine. Comedy. Music. Ranting.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who recognises my genius and is willing to throw vast amounts of cash at me for a piece of it.

Music:

David Bowie. Pink Floyd. Muse. Ice T. Foo Fighters. Goldfrapp. Brian Eno. But mostly, I'm into individual tracks rather than bands. Can't be arsed to wade through boring album filler to get to the hit singles.

Movies:

Caddyshack. The Marathon Man. Children of Men. Dead Man's Shoes. Rita, Sue and Bob Too. The Outlaw Josey Wales. Charlie Varrick. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3. The Terminator. Alien. Blade Runner. Three Kings. Fargo. Carry On Screaming. Deliverance. The Godfather. Goodfellas.

Television:

Normally, I'm a promiscuous, channel-hopping viewer and I find it hard commiting to any TV series. However, I'm loving the new Battlestar Galactica series. I usually check out any new comedy series.

Books:

Don't have time to read anymore, but when I did I used to enjoy Raymond Chandler and Phillip Kerr's Berlin Noir trilogy. Anything hard-boiled, basically.

Heroes:

David Bowie. Clint Eastwood.
