Fiction is the Hyphen.
The link between what can be and what is. In some cases it is longer than others. In some it is barely visible, a speck-link of a wafer of technology that doesn’t exist, or a slipshod bit of history crammed in to make things more interesting. And yes I’m, mixing metaphors, because that’s something else all fiction does. It stirs up all the symbols and images of past and place, of time and location. The hyper-real.
If our fiction makes us real, then our imaginations imagine us. There are two sides. There are two times. A time for what is real, and a time for what is true. When the real world ended the true world was all that was left.
These IMAGINATION MANIFESTOs can be read in any order, but all of them collide against a place where things we believe in have started to believe in us.
