This work represents very well the language of the strings. Displays a personalized guitar accent and brings a great display of the rhythms, melodic and agreeable riches of the Brazilian musical culture. The repertory holds a mix of compositions from Hess with compositions from South Brazil’s instrumentalists, and brings authentic Brazilian sonorities from different tendencies of samba and choro up to baião. This work brings the valuable participation of the great guitarist, composer and teacher Nelson Faria, who has contributed with one of his compositions and with his unmistakable musical sonority, besides putting on record an important report about the career and Hess’s first album. It also brings along the participation of other great instrumentalists with a vast international experience. The album was also played in the US, where it was ranked up among the best releases in 2006 by KBCS 93,1 FM in the songs and cultures category from Brazil in the "Ra..zes" programming, conducted by Samia Panni. The musical production and arrangements are signed by Fabio Hess that, besides this, has played the electrical guitars, 6, 7 and 12-string acoustic guitars, the cavaquinho (little guitar type), electrical bass in two tracks, and some percussion. All of the work has been produced in the Trilhas Urbanas Studio (one of the greatest studios in south of Brazil). This Studio holds an extraordinary team, as well as an impeccable sound quality. This work from Hess, named "Bambas Cordas Brasileiras" (Brazilian Tightropes), comes up with “swing" and elegance to retrieve the authentic sonority of the Brazilian guitar, without any prejudice with its origins.
