Born in Curitiba, in the State of Paraná, Brazil, Murillo studied Guitar, Theory and Improvisation in several music academies, involving himself in a miriad of styles in universal music. With his delicate, profound and at times daring guitar technique, he turned out to be one of the essencial Flamenco guitar players for solo concerts. Since Murillo has been such an influence for several artists in terms of style and technique, he is one of the most widely respected and requested Flamenco guitar soloists , as well as one of the most widely recognized Flamenco composers in Brazil.
