I believe in and strive to live by the teachings of our Grandmothers and Grandfathers.
Both those of my Native American and European ancestry.
Many call these the Wise Women, or Elders or Crone ways.
The old ways contain the simplicity of actually assisting Nature to let the most natural way of healing, etc to be done.
And now, the technology of the new ages, can also allow us the freedom of combining both, to find our way to a balanced, more healthy lifestyle.
My hope is to combine my training,
my knowledge and my love for herbs,
into a circle of help and healing,
that will help Families to improve their Health in a natural way,
in tune with the Earth on their journey of life.
My formal training includes becoming a registered nurse,
and working in the medical arena for many years.
My training into the field of natural medicine began
about 7 years ago,
at the Oklahoma School of Natural Medicine,
which is based on the teachings of Dr. John Christopher,
the father of the School of Natural Healing http://www.snh.cc/snh_cc.htm.
I have a certificate in Herbology,
and have studied massage therapy,
aromatherapy, reflexology,and homeopathy.
I have an intense interest in Native American herbology,
and wildcrafting in a responsible way,
and I did a year long study in the uses of herbs and their spiritual importance.
I am a trained doula, and women's medicine is a passion for me.
I am a trained teacher of Good Medicine,
as taught by Grandfather Eli, www.goodmedicinesociety.com
I am a member, producer and volunteer with the Oklahoma Food Coop.
