About Live and Original
Live and Original (L&O) endeavours to be one of the most powerful organisational tools for supporting, nurturing, promoting and unearthing local original music of all genres on the Central Coast.
Owned & run by local Singer/Songwriter, Father & Registered Nurse Ben Roberts & Partner Kerrie-Anne Ball - L&O aims to provide local artists with the platforms to gain the recognition they deserve. L&O believe that local original talent can be lifted from the bedroom & nurtured throughout its many stages providing the platforms needed to be heard & appreciated by a large audience.
L&O offers this publicity, exposure & support through Live & On-Air Music Performances at 'The Live and Original Showcase' @ Diggers @ The Entrance the 1st Fri of the Month (Formerly Sundays in Jan, 08) & Live and Original On-Air Mon Nights from 8pm on CoastFm 96.3 presented by Ben Roberts, it’s former Un-plugged Event @ The Little Frog French Restaurant, Wyong, ‘Home Bred’ & ‘Live & Acoustic’ events @ The Dekk Bar, Terrigal & The Attic Nitespot in The Entrance, local festivals, community radio, editorials in community newspaper & street press, album launches, dinner shows, live sound recordings & music photography, online promotion (mailing list, myspace, website, gig guides), posters & flyers.
