About Me

ARC is an internationally recognized exhibition space that has been an intergral part of the Chicago art scene since its inception in 1973. Founded during the women's movement as an alternative space to the mainstream gallery system, ARC continues to provide opportunities for professional artists working in all media, without discrimination toward gender, race, sexuality, age, spiritual or political views. As a non-profit, woman run gallery located in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, ARC is one of the oldest co-op of its kind in the country.Want more info. on ARC?
