Submitted cd's or tapes will not be returned to sender unless a stamped addressed envelope is included with the package.
Submissions CLOSE August 1st.
Please note, EVERYONE, except for the headliners the music committee is contacting, MUST SEND A SUBMISSION FORM - even if you are a ladyfest volunteer. It helps to keep everything organized and fair.

Ladyfest Chicago is a multi-faceted four-day festival promoting women involved in arts and activism. It will utilize all-ages independent spaces to encourage and inspire a diverse community to come together in celebration of talent on local, national, and international levels. Like other Ladyfests around the globe, Ladyfest Chicago is volunteer-based with all proceeds benefiting charity. Men are more than welcome to attend Ladyfest events and join in the process of curating the festival, and submissions from men and women who work together are welcomed, but women must play the dominant role in organizing and structuring the festival. Ladyfest Chicago will feature and support musicians, artists, emcees, dancers, writers, crafters, poets, designers and ladies of all talents, emerging and established.
Ladyfest will take place between Thurs Oct 18 to Sunday Oct 21 2007. We are still in need of many volunteers - please send a message if you'd like to be involved.
