NEW: Cíbara (music) & Monster's Balls (film)

About Me

NEW: Cíbara. A track inspired by Arabic, Persian and Balkan music. The piece is played in an Arabic scale. A new video added: Monster's Balls, a clay animation short (1,5 min) about two balls changing into 'monsters' and attacking each other.&laquo NEW

Something about me: I'm 30 years old. At the age of 16 I started to write my first songs and later I started to experiment with lots of different music styles. On MySpace I'm trying to give people an idea of my personal musical explorations.

My music ranges from jazz and electronica to classical and improvisation. So far I have compiled 5 albums containing music from about 1996 to 2006. These albums aren't released (yet). Every album is very different from each other. See the different blogs. New pieces include various inspirations and therefore can sound very different from each other.

Besides that I compose pieces for small ensembles (piano, voice, flute, violin, cello, etc.) and some songs. See the picture section for examples of sheet music.
Music uploaded here will change frequently ... so come back regulary!!! Besides music you can find pictures I've taken and clay sculptures and paintings I've made. Visit the picture section.

Also visit www.myspace.com/forandrei for my tribute to Andrei Tarkovski, especially the music, sounds, poems and dialogue used in his films.

As my music samples show, I don't commit myself to one or a few music styles. So is it just that I want to 'absorb' as much music as I can? Or are there, for me, no borders in music? Let me explain&St...
