40MASSE

After having a break for about 4 years, Dennis and Frederik are thinking about reanimating their old experimental flagship called 40Masse. In that case we would like to thank all of you, who wrote a comment and gave us the feeling, that the time has come to return and hopefully even get back on stage!!!!Myspace Contact Tables , hosting by Imgdump.netBraunschweig 1993: 4 young guys enter their rehearsal-room with the idea of playing as long as they can for one take. The result was 40 minutes, even the second and the third recording had a playtime of 40 minutes. And because of the effect, having recorded much "Mass" but less "Class" we finally called the project: 40MASSE!The Lineup changed, the idea stayed: 4 musicians meet once a year, lock themselves in the rehearselroom and begin to play without knowing what comes next... ... 10 minutes, 90 minutes or maybe 40 minutes, whatever. But it is always beeing recorded with a 4 Track-Tape-Recorder.And like we experienced, you can still listen to some tunes! The last recordings at 2003 were made only by Dennis and Frederik and the songs were written before. For the first time 40MASSE didn´t made a sessionrecording.
