Biography

A story about love for music and life. And a story of true friendship. Three guys living 800 km far from each other and making music together. The band is formed by Emil Spleen (Bass/keyboard/vocals) Julian Fade (Guitar/keyboard/backing vocals) and Gabriel Straw (Drums) in Italy, during the middle of 2005.
In order to write their songs they often meet in a house lost in the middle of the italian countryside, completely isolated from the world and accompanied only by their instruments and by the necessary equipment.
Dialis' music recalls the '80s New-Wave and the most profound and reflective british pop&rock. The sound is pervaded by a dark atmosphere, but it's sweet and dreamy at the same time.
The lyrics are written in a form hardly referable to the rock tradition, and inspired by a deep reflection on the human condition.
The particularity of their music succeeds in reaching fans of very different genres, such as pop, rock, goth, shoegaze and metal.
In March 2007 their first official EP is out, well reviewed by many zines around the world and its songs receives many plays from indie radios. It also sells about a hundred copies without doing any live show.
The band is now at work on their next release, a second EP, in which other aspects of Dialis' sound will be revealed.
