Misty Morning is an Astral Doom'n'Roll band.
Luca Moretti plays the guitar and sings.
Massimo Vendittozzi plays the Bass.
Francesco De Dominicis plays the drum.
They play all together from the 3rd of February 2007.
But the Misty Morning's project has a long long story.
Once upon a time in the south maremma there was a band who could play every Black Sabbath Ozzy-era songs: The Black Ivory. In the late 90ies the members of this band decided to leave the project for their own personal reasons.
Luca Moretti and Massimo Vendittozzi was really good friends.
One night, while playing the same old song, the great blacksabbath's the wizard, Luca thought about the name of a new band: Misty Morning. He asked the Massimo's opinion. Luca is always so insicure. Massimo said: ok. From that moment this two guys started to work on the new project. Luca loves the monumental riffing, the psichedelic solos and the visionary words. Massimo loves hard-rocking, warm touching basslines and gloomy atmospheres. From that moment Luca started to spent all nights long to create new riffs and astral words for this band. From that moment Massimo spent all days long to arrange the mess in Luca's mind. Until 2007 they had more than 30 songs ready but...they don't have a drummer. For one year Luca played with a three members band in his hometown: Acid Age, he played with the best drummer in his area but he had a no-comunication problem with those guys. Luca and Massimo tried to find the drummer in Rome, the city where both lives now, but was a complete insuccess. It was a pity that a band with almost 10 years songwriting activity cannot find a drummer who want to reach the same goal. Never say never. Like a rainbow in the dark it cames a new. A friend of Luca, a collegue in his theatre company, wants to join the band. He likes the tunes, he likes the lyrics but...he never played the drum. Luca believed in that guys, Luca toured with him, Luca knew he had the rithm in his soul. Misty Morning gave him a chance.
Now Francesco is the drummer of Misty Morning. In 2 months he learned to play drum and to play 5 songs and a cover of Misty Morning's repertoire.
Now MM are ready to record the songs.
