Reido was founded in 2002 in Minsk, Belarus by Alexander "Faceless" Kachar (guitars, vocals) and Anton Matveev (bass). They also invited Andrey Yepikhin as a guitarist and Sergey Shevchuk as a drummer, but they left shortly after joining the band (to which Reido acknowledges their efforts). The band began the first rehearsals in spring-summer 2002. Two years of suffering difficulties during the recording helped to change the style of the music - it became much more extreme, heavy, slow and mournful. It was no more place for melancholy, only for cold technogenic atmosphere with avantgarde rhythmic experiments and electronic influence. Reido had found a new direction, so some of the early songs were not recorded because they had become obsolete. Recording of "F:..all" was finished in autumn 2005. Some studio work was done by Andrey "Ravenlord" Starovoitov (Legacy Studio). Cover layout and additional artwork was designed by Alex Klochkov (http://artdel.nm.ru). Between the end of the album recording sessions and its eventual release, Reido signed to the russian label Solitude Productions. "F:..all" was released there on the 8th of May, 2006. In summer 2006 two new musicians joined Reido, Nickolay Pankov (guitars) and Pavel Nadolski (drums). In October 2006 Reido recorded a single track demo called "Detect Memory".
