This is the official MySpace page of Australian seventies prog rock band BUFFALO, sanctioned and controlled by the band members.
For the full history of BUFFALO, the best place to visit is the band’s official website constructed and maintained by a dedicated fan (Michael Eagling) in Tasmania with the band’s permission & sincere gratitude. It is the most comprehensive and correct version of Buffalo’s true story. The site address is shown in the ’General’ section.
Buffalo’s entire five album collection has been remastered in CD format by AZTEC MUSIC in Melbourne,Australia. AZTEC is completely dedicated to unearthing, remastering and repackaging some of Australia’s monumental rock bands, most from the late sixties or early seventies. Many have been ’lost’ for a great number of years.
Sensational audio engineering by Gil Matthews has resulted in awesome sound quality which allows the Buffalo albums to be heard ’properly’ for the first time. Each album has extensive liner notes and memorabilia such as photos of the band and posters, reviews and other good stuff! The band also wishes to commend David Macken (Monkey Designs) for his exceptional artwork and booklet designs.
BUFFALO officially recognises AZTEC RECORDS as being the premier source for all Buffalo recordings.
PLEASE: visit Aztec Music at the web address shown in the ’general’ section to view the label’s complete catalogue or click on the link in our ’Friend’ section.
If you are a fan of Aussie bands, you will find an unprecedented, remastered collection of some of our finest acts from the last 30 years or so. The dedication of the staff at Aztec Music is to be respected and admired.
