The Angels Band (four of the founding members of The Angels/Angel City) are again touring every corner of Australia in 2007.
Don’t be confused. The Angels Band members are John Brewster (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Brewster (Lead guitar, b/vs), Chris Bailey (Bass, b/vs) and Graham ‘Buzz’ Bidstrup (Drums) who is taking a well earned break. New blood Tom Brewster (Son of John Brewster) and Roddy Rod (Nephew of Buzz) are shareing the load and stepping up to the challenge of sitting in Buzz Bidstrups seat .
Five years ago four of these five original members of the band, John, Rick, Chris and Buzz, after a chance reunion on stage at a benefit concert for victims of the Bali tragedy, decided to continue on, initially as The Original Angels Band (this was to avoid confusion as to who was, or wasn’t in the band) and since October 2007, as The Angels Band.
Now that is cleared up, after over 400 shows touring around Australia since the reunion, what you have all been waiting for……….. the release of a new song from the band!
The new single, ‘Ivory Stairs’ will include 3 bonus tracks never recorded by the band. There will also be a new DVD and album of The Angels Band's performance at The Bon Scott Concert in Perth where over 10,000 fans went off and chanted for more. There are some magic moments – a must see!
The Angels Band continue to deliver a slick, tight, rocking show with the classic Angels songs in the repertoire which all the fans enjoy, along with some new ones to take the band into 2008!!
