The first woman who started a podcast in France in March 2005 (that's why you will find : "The first French Woman..." everywhere on Google.com with Meltingpod, it was a joke between the first male podcasters in the world and me when podcasting was still in its infancy and it's now stuck to me on the internet !! I will let you appreciate if i'm really "the Queen of the Rock'n'roll podcasters" now !!). So I launched MY ROCK AND ROLL PODCAST MELTINGPOD (in English) with music and interviews to promote the bands I like around the world and a few months later in December 2005 I started

March 23th : It's the first day I can watch the news after one long month seriously sick completly out of this world and I woke up this morning to the real life again happy to feel me better but angry after checking how China is massacring Tibet! I love Tibet : it's one of my favorite destinations in my next travels' projects for years...I dreamed to see Lhassa and their superbe Potala for years ...

I have never been to Australia so far but I opened my very first show in 2005 with A SONG CALLED "MARSEILLE" written by THE ANGELS in Sydney's harbour 30 years ago...after having given me their agreement to play that song in my podcast, John Brewster (the Angels' guitarist and current singer) e-mailed me the story about the song's lyrics "Take my blues away, take me away to Marseille" :
"One day I was driving my purple Renault down by the docks where some ships were tied up to the wharves, the band was in hard times (we hadn’t achieved success at this point) and I just felt in a mood to escape it all. For some reason my French lessons came back to my mind and I thought of Marseille. The band played in Nice but so far I have never been to Marseille. Best regards, John"
Then a few days later THE SAINTS knocked at my door... (the venue where they played at Marseille and where I met them was situated a few hundred meters from my home !)... I made with Chris Bailey my very first live interview in English (I tried !) and such connections increased...

To close this chapter for the moment, an extract from Rose Tattoo's singer Angry Anderson's old interview I recently found on the internet : "So that’s how we ended up on Alberts, who at one stage had the 3 top rock acts in Australia - AC/DC, The Angels and us. They also had the 3 biggest pop acts too. I guess Rose Tattoo were the ugly cousins, the embarrassments, the people who nobody took any notice of at parties until they puked all over the table."
It made me laugh everytime I read it because the picture is very funny + when I met ROSE TATTOO at Lyon in April 2007, I was so warmly welcome from the first seconds that I really have the strong feeling I came and visit my cousins from Australia (I was introduced in the family at Perth by the cousin Buzz the Angels' drummer : listen to that spontaneous and funny podcast through Buzz's mobile during the BON SCOTT CELEBRATION CONCERT's rehearsal ) : I recorded that day at Lyon a very long live interview on Meltingpod with Angry Anderson The Tatts' singer (very focused during 90mn nonstop about his 30 years carreer in the music) and a more relaxed interview during 20mn with Mick Cocks The Tatts' guitarist : check it !!

I never met Buzz in person but we recorded many hours phone interviews together about music, the copyrights, the Jimmy Little Foundation, the Bon Scott Celebration Concert, his others bands + with Rick and John Brewster. The podcast recorded for months with him and his other great family : GANGgajang is on line at least on MELTINGPOD !!
