The Aztec Music reissue label was launched in July 2005. Our primary focus of our label is to reissue classic Australian titles from the early 1970s thru to the early 1980s (with a few notable exceptions). This period has been ill served since the advent of CD, with many classic and important titles being either unavailable, or reissued without (we think) the sort of care and attention they warrant also many Australian titles have been bootlegged over the years, with the artists receiving no royalties.

Our reissues will all be deluxe versions - packaged in a 6 panel digi-pak, digitally remastered form the original master tapes (where available), have a 16+ page booklet containing extensive liner notes and rare photos. Bonus tracks will also be added where available. We have enlisted the services of some of Australia s best music writers and researchers to help make our releases of the highest quality. We are also working directly with the artists where possible. In most cases, we will be reissuing original titles, not compilations.
