Life as we know it is no more and no less than a trick that our minds are playing on one another and ourselves. How much of reality is real? How many things are worth the struggle one puts forth to obtain a material item? Even love cannot even be proved to exist. Most of the love that we feel is platonic or forced upon us. The only love that can be justified is none. You are the only judge, and you are the only one who can look past this illusion.
