Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

We're a Cornwall-based service for writers (and anyone wanting a writer,) set up in collaboration with University College Falmouth. You can find out all about us on our big, grown-up website at www.thewritingcentre.com

Our blog is for 'One Minute Wonders.' Just squeeze the best idea for a book/film/short story/tv series/computer game/comic/poem/whatever that you can into 275 words (the average amount an educated adult can read in a minute.) And we'll paste it into our blog if we like it and bulletin all our Myspace friends if we REALLY like it. So come on down. You're next.

My Interests

Novels, short stories, poetry, journalism, autobiography, comics, film, plays, monologues, radio, television, songwriting, biography, children's literature, advertising, business writing, life writing, travel writing, business writing, local history, self-publishing. Just writing, basically. Also, harmonicas. And seventies chocolate bars. And the smell of unread books.

I'd like to meet:

Writers of all levels, genres and media. And anyone interested in writing. Pretty much anyone, in fact.
