I am here for Friends

About Me

Both my father and mother were great explorers. I spent my childhood exploring lost cities and learning lifes lessons from brilliant, everyday people from all over the world. By the age of eleven I had dipped my toes in the seven seas, visited the seven wonders of the world, and learned seven languages. Today I am a ghost. Yes, a ghost. The house I haunt is one of the seven I explored with my grandchildren, Audrey and Garrett, so many years ago. Our adventures from that one summer are now becoming a series of books for young readers. Two of the seven books are available now. I hope you enjoy them.

This is a little teaser for ADVENTURE 3!

Music:

Swing, Jazz, Classical, and comedy programs (I love Abbott & Costello).

Movies:

They didn't have moving picture theaters in the jungle or on tropical islands.

Television:

I've never owned one, but I hear there are wonderful travel and adventure programs to be seen—in color, none the less.

Books:

Oh, I love books. It would be unfair to the many if I listed just a few. Right now I'm reading: LARKLIGHT by Philip Reeve

Heroes:

The men and women from history who stood on their borders and asked, "What's over there?"
