In 2001, Arnold forms a new project called STRICK9, a seriously new cutting edge group that features young jazz luminaries Nasheet Waits and Greg Lewis. This group will release their 3rd independent CD, early 2008!
In 2002, Arnold is featured on Jazz/Funk guitar with Producer and Jazz piano great Marcus Johnson for a live radio performance broadcasted at Sirius Satellite Radio at Rockefeller Center in New York City, a performance hear around the world!
In 2003, Arnold performs at "Summer Stage" in the meadow of NYC's Cenral Park with the headline group "Nu Afrika Project" that features the actor/singer "Leon" and Grammy winner Num Amen Ra, for an estimated 60,000 people!
In 2004, Arnold performed in Europe, with loop/sample music in collabration with one of Italy's most famous Hip Hop DJ's, Fabio Marzo!
In 2005, Arnold recorded with Grammy winning Reggae Artist, Burning Spear and is featured on the 2006 re-release of Spear's classic "Columbus".
In May 2006 Arnold recorded at Clive Davis Studio in NYC with Grammy winner Timbo King of Wu Tang Clan/Black Market and Producer, Jazz great Rodney Kendricks on his soon to be releaed CD called "Protest" to be released on the BlueNote Record label!
Stay tuned for the Rodney Kendricks/Arnold Strickland project! Besides being one of jazz music's piano greats with 6 major label releases under his belt, Rodney also produced hits for Wu Tang Clan, Buster Rhymes, Fat Joe and Abby Lincoln.
Working relationship with Universal Music Group's Producer Billie Gean. BG produced Hip Hop beats for DL4 "That Laffy Taffy" 2006 now a huge hit all over the airwaves, sold beats to The Dipolmats aka Dip Set. Watch out for this guy! Stay tuned for music produced by their colaboration in 2008!

JUST POSTED: Stay tuned in 2007 and 2008 for the Devils PlayGround, a new Rock/HipHop project featuring two of Brooklyn's hottest young Rap sensations and leaders of the band, Tan Tan and Righteous. Arnold is featured on Rock guitar and Chulo Gatewood on Bass.. who also is currently the Bassist for Jazz Guitar great Pat Martino. They'll be performing at one of the largest and hottest NYC venues on Novenber 14th, Crash Mansion! More gigs to follow!
