Born in a brothel in Amsterdam, Luke Cage learned the ways of organ from his father – a jazz musician and pimp.At the age of eight, Luke moved to queens, New York where he was raised by his prostitute cousin. Amid the chaos, Luke would escape by listening to jazz, rock, classical and rap. Luke was twelve years old when he began playing professionally in New York City and traveling the world sharing his music.Luke has become New York`s hottest keyboardist, versatile in all genres of music. Luke has a unique style of his own blending Theloneous Monk, Larry Young, Sly Stone and himself into an eclectic soulful musical experience. His performances are jammed full of energetic and high spirited entertainment. Every pull of a draw bar and stroke of a key, on his B3 Hammond organ, touches deep into the heart and soul of his fans.
