Sesta Marconi concept began in 1999, when a group of friends started to play toghether in a dark and dirty garage, but it's only in 2002 that the band became stabylized and started to play original songs. In that year Sesta performed several shows and created many new songs, two of wich were recorded on the first demo "Black Soul Star", a promo inspired by many influences,from 70's hard rock to the purer heavy metal with particular references to doom.In 2003 the band entire moved to Rome where continued to play altough several problems.Since 2003 till now Sesta worked to new material that would have to be recorded on the new demo, with a radical new direction towards doom stoned by rock and roll.

L’idea Sesta Marconi risale all’ormai lontano 1999, quando un gruppo di amici allora quindicenni diede vita al proprio destino musicale. Nel 2002 la formazione si stabilizza e la band inizia a creare pezzi propri. Nel giro di un anno i Sesta, oltre a suonare molto dal vivo, compongono diverse canzoni, due delle quali finiscono sul loro primo demo “Black soul starâ€, a metà strada tra hard rock/seventies e chiaro metal con particolari riferimenti al doom. Nel settembre 2003 la band si trasferisce completamente a Roma dove continua ad esistere nonostante alcuni problemi che ne rallentano l'attività . Dal 2004 ad oggi i Sesta hanno continuato a comporre materiale che, in parte, è andato a costituire la tracklist di "Ritual Kamasutra Kitsch", mini-cd ormai prossimo all'uscita, che promuove una radicale svolta al suono dei primi tempi e indirizza maggiormente lo stile verso un doom strafatto di rock’n'roll. Questo è quanto, finora, il destino ha rivelato ai Sesta...
